The third Saturday of each month Trinity takes a group of volunteers, mostly youth, to the store for volunteer work and outreach. The Open Door Pantry also offers a friendly dear and a ray of hope. Many of their customers have no where else to turn.
KNITTERS AND CROCHETERS
Trinity has a group of volunteers creating gifts through knitting and crocheting. The items created are then donated to various organizations. Stuffed toy bears wee dressed with clothes created by this group and donated to local police to be given to children who find themselves in temporary police custody from various situations. Hats and scarves were donated to Open Door Pantry to help keep their customers warm during cold seasons. Knitting and crocheting is also done for local nursing home patients.
